Purchasing Service
 Nordic Yacht Works, Inc. offers its’ customers a safe way to purchase vessels in the USA.We are licensed brokers by the State of Florida. Our basic service package includes the following:
- Preliminary inspection and photos of the vessel prior to bidding or offering
- Advising the customer about the bid history of the boat (auctions) and the possible “buy it now” option offered by the bank
- History report of the boat including reported accident and insurance claims
- Advising the customer about the boat’s free market value
- Consulting a notified body regarding the CE certification for the vessel in case of European export
- Consulting the customer regarding the necessary modifications to the boat for European use
- Transportation arrangements
- Handling the paper work after successful closing
- Detailed inspection of the boat after closing and before the final payment. Down payment will be returned by the bank (auction boats) if the boat’s condition has been misrepresented by the vendor, for example massive engine problems or equivalent are found.
- Making the cost estimates for possible repairs and service work needed
- Making the cost estimates for modifications requested by the buyer
- Taking delivery of the new purchased vessel
- Arranging for the temporary storage (storage fees paid by the buyer)
- One month basic maintenance management fee for the boat included
- Coordinating the loading and shipping schedule with the marina and the shipping company, arranging possible arch and prop removals etc. for transportation.
- Delivering the documents and keys to the buyer
- Customs clearance documents in the USA if needed
