Hydra-Sports 3300 Center Console

Nordic Yacht Works did the pre-purchase inspection for this popular Center Console model from Hydra-Sports. As the boat was destined to Africa, the plan was to do all the upgrade work and modifications here in the US, so the boat would be turn key when it arrives to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. One of the main focuses was to gain more speed, a lot of it. The original twin Yamaha 250 Hpdi two strokes were removed and the boat was re-powered with 3 x 300 hp Mercury Verado outboards. All new fly by wire controls came with the engines, so as far as the power was concerned, the boat had a major improvement compared to the twin 250’s. On top of the re-power, we did the following:

• New Raymarine electronics with twin hybrid MFD displays
• Two new sounder modules, a regular one and a Chirp system
• Autopilot
• New stereo system
• Interior LED lights
• New combing pad upholstery
• HD Radar
• SmartCraft instrumentation
• New Odyssey AGM battery banks
• Crow’s nest station on top of the hard top
• Aluminum ladder to the top
• Soda blast the bottom and refurbish the underwater with Interprotect 2000 and fresh bottom paint
• Custom wrap on the hull sides
• Search light
• New VHF radio
• New antennas
